Welcome to my website.
The ability to be heard, to present a view, to be involved in a conversation or discussion about the things that impact on you or the things that you care about is one of the most powerful things we can do, yet very few people actually do it in a way that can change lives.
I believe in building strong relationships with people, relationships that will enable us to have a conversation about things of importance, and maybe things of little consequence, but regardless of what is said the conversation and the relationship is the most important thing and something that will sustain.
I believe my capacity to enable you to have your voice heard is crucial if we are going to make a difference for our community.
And that’s where my website comes into the picture…
I want to hear from you, I want you to have a conversation about your home, your place, your community and how we together can make a difference.
If I am pre-selected for the Labor Party in Franklin I will engage in traditional forms of campaigning - doorknocking, letterboxing, meetings in peoples homes, coffee shop conversations and street corner chats. But I will also be using my website and other electronic forms of communication to enable people to have a say and enable me to lift your ideas to a level of action.
I want this website to be an ideas engine, I want to hear about your hopes, your ideas and yes it sounds a bit corny but the dreams you have for your community.
I want to hear the worries you have about your community but I also want to hear your ideas and solutions for these challenges.
