David O'Byrne was elected to the Tasmanian Parliament as a Labor Member for the electorate of Franklin at the 2010 State election. His portfolio responsibilities currently encompass Workplace Relations, Police and Emergency Management, Economic Development, Infrastructure and Innovation Science and Technology.
